AI image creation at Microsoft (was Bing, now Copilot), and at Google (was Bard, now Gemini) are having a rough time. Between derivative work, offensive images, and black vikings, it has been a rough month. Of course, creativity begins with inherently random associations between ideas and images not expected to be seen together; of course it goes odd. That’s why it works, and frequently, crashes.
